The sides of this newel post are detailed with panels. The newel is designed for use with the 7" balustrade system. This traditionally detailed design compliments many baluster styles. The newel anchors the balustrade and enhances it with both structural integrity and character. The paneled newel post is crafted in precision-molded urethane. The urethane newel is non-porous and withstands moisture. It will not peel or decay with time. The urethane newel is also reinforced at the core and coated in an exterior grade primer.
